This year at Nixon, our students focused on understanding artists from diverse cultures and understanding their art philosophy. I strongly encourage families and family friends to ask the students about their art to help them get used to talking about their art. Please ask what they learned about the artists and the process of making the artwork. Our students worked really hard to make amazing art this trimester.
